Sika® Antisol®-90

Synthetic Resin Based, Solvent Containing Concrete Curing Compound

Sika® Antisol®-90 is a resin based, solvent containing liquid curing compound for the prevention of premature water loss in concrete.
Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Usage

Sika® Antisol®-90 is applied to fresh concrete surfaces to form a fast drying, thin, flexible and tough impervious membrane which protects the concrete from rapid water evaporation during initial curing stages, thereby assisting towards obtaining maximum strength, durability and helping towards the elimination of shrinkage cracks and surface dusting. Sika® Antisol®-90 is particularly useful in large areas of exposed concrete such as:
  • Highways, runways and taxiways
  • Aprons and hardstandings
  • Roof decks
  • Retaining walls
  • Pre-stressed beams and piers
  • Bridge decks, etc

Shelf life

12 months from the date of production if stored properly

Storage conditions

Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +45 °C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

Sika® Antisol®-90 is applied at a rate of between 5.3–5.7 m² per litre, depending on wind, humidity and temperature.
Application steps

APPLICATION

Sika® Antisol®-90 is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted with any forms of solvent. Stir well before use. Sika® Antisol®-90 is applied in a thin even coat, using spray equipment, onto the fresh concrete immediately after the free surface water has evaporated. After application of Antisol®-90, the area must be protected from rain for at least 3 hours.

Drying time is ~30 minutes (at +30 °C to +35 °C)
