SikaPaver®-3938

Hybrid acrylic coating for paver stones and manufactured concrete products 

SikaPaver®-3938 is a hybrid acrylic water-based coating for paver stones and manufactured concrete products. 
The surface that has been treated with SikaPaver®-3938 is water and oil-repellent and additionally provides dirt and stain protection. SikaPaver®-3938 improves the color brilliancy and allows for better stability of the color.
SikaPaver®-3938 can be sprayed or rolled on the surface of manufactures concrete products immediately after their compaction and stripping. Once applied, the product doesn't require any special drying or curing treatment: the elements can be transferred directly to the chamber for curing, as it is normally done.

Usage

SikaPaver®-3938 is suitable for the surface treatment of paving stones and any other type of manufactured concrete products, i.e. elements made with dry or semi-dry concrete and compacted by vibration or vibro-compression.

Storage conditions

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. Protect from direct sunlight. Mix well before using.

Coverage depends on wind, humidity and temperature. Production tests should always be carried out to determine the optimal dosage and effect.
Application steps

APPLICATION

SikaPaver®-3938 is a liquid product and has been sprayed or rolled on the surface of the fresh elements, immediately after their compaction and stripping. To achieve optimal results, it is very important to ensure that the spraying system allows a homogeneous and even distribution of SikaPaver®-3938 on the surface of the elements.
