SikaPaver®-702

(former MCast 702)

Water-repellent for the protection of Manufactured Concrete Products 

SikaPaver®-702 is a single component, clear when cured, deeply penetrating water-repellent specially developed for semi-dry concrete mixes. The product is suitable for the production of kerbstones, paving blocks and slabs.
SikaPaver®-702 helps in protecting both vertical and horizontal concrete surfaces from deterioration by atmospheric pollution, water and salt attack. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

  • Provides a longlasting protection: SikaPaver®-702 penetrates deep into the surface acting as a water repellent that protects from water, salts (chloride ion), atmospheric pollution and concrete deterioration
  • Improves the aesthetics by reducing efflorescence, algae growth and dirt buildup
  • Generally, surface appearance remains unchanged
  • Reduces volatile organic emissions into the atmosphere
  • Provides a safer working environment for the applicator by minimising health hazards associated with organic solvents
  • Ready to use; no dilution on site needed
  • Can be applied to damp substrates
  • Application equipment easily cleaned with water
  • Wastage is minimised and coverage is maximised

Usage

SikaPaver®-702 is designed to be used in the following Manufacturing Concrete Products:

Application steps

MIXING

SikaPaver®-702 is supplied ready for use and should not be thinned. Stir material thoroughly before and during application

APPLICATION

SikaPaver®-702 is applied by using low pressure spray, brush or roller, working from bottom up, taking care not to let the product run. On horizontal application, avoid ponding on the surface.

Test a small area of the concrete surface before starting general application to assure desired results and coverage rates.
