HIGH PERFORMANCE CEMENTITIOUS LEVELING & SMOOTHENING PUTTY

SikaWall®-100 SA is a cement based fine putty which provides an excellent finishing for concrete / cement plastered walls and ceiling, of different material such as brick, mortar, concrete, etc. It is an ideal base for painting and decorative finishing in interior & exterior application. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Usage

SikaWall®-100 SA is used as a thin levelling layer and a sealing putty on concrete, mortar and masonry surfaces.
Typical applications are:
▪ Pore sealer on cementitious substrates
▪ For external and internal wall/celling smoothening
▪ Fairing coat before application of other coatings
▪ Thin smoothing layer on vertical areas in building
▪ Can be used in civil engineering construction before application of acrylic decorative & protective coatings
▪ Filling putty of small bugholes
▪ Reprofiling of small defects on edges and to form decorative covings

Storage conditions

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry condition at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C. Protect from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.

Application steps

MIXING

Mix with the necessary, above mentioned, amount of water, using an electric blender with a suit-able mixing
spiral at low speed, in a clean bucket for at least 3 minutes. Obtain a smooth paste free of lumps. Use a
blender at 500 rpm maximum. Do not mix at faster rate because of mechanical strength decay of the
cured product. The obtained mix result is very creamy, easily spreadable and thixotropic.

APPLICATION

SikaWall®-100 SA can be applied by putty blades. Make sure that the second layer application should be done when the first layer is totally dry. If the substrate is having low tolerances it is convenient to apply SikaWall®-100 SA in one layer. When deeper holes or fissures to be filled it should be applied in several layers, once dry. The surface must be sanded with a sandpaper of fine grain, then proceed painting the surface.

 

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use, once hardened material can only be remved mechanically.
