SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish

ACRYLIC POLYMER BASED FINISH COAT

SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish is factory-mixed, acrylic polymer based finish coat available in different gradings to achieve different surface roughness. SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish can achieve a wide variety of free-formed textured appearances. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.  Note: For illustrative purpose only.  

  • Enables the creation of varied and unique textured surfaces, including stippled and skip-trowel finishes, through variations in product filler grading, application equipment and controlled application techniques.
  • Long-term durability
  • Weather resistant - repels water and resists wind-driven rain

Usage

  • Provides an aesthetical finishing surface, colour and texture for the Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS).
  • Textured coating for poured concrete or unit masonry, veneer plaster or gypsum board (interior applications only), conventional stucco and certain insulating concrete forms.
  • Not recommended for “smooth” applications.

Storage conditions

Store in unopened, undamaged and sealed original packaging in dry condi-tions at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. Protect from direct sun-light, heat and moisture.

Consumption

Consumption

Consumption varies depending on the chosen type of surface texture. It is recommended to apply a test area to determine actual material consumption, which depends on product filler grading, application tools, equipment and application technique.
Application steps

MIXING

  • Stir the factory-prepared SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish with a mixer until uniformly blended.
  • A small amount of clean, potable water may be added to adjust workability.
  • Additives are not permitted.
  • Close and seal the container when not in use.

APPLICATION

  • Apply SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish directly to SikaWall®-15 Tinted Primer AE with a clean, stainless steel trowel.
  • Apply and level SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish during the same operation, to obtain uniform coverage.
  • Maintain a wet edge on SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish by applying and texturing continually over the wall surface.
  • Work SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish to corners, joints or other natural breaks and do not allow material to set up within an uninterrupted wall area.
  • Float SikaWall®-6080 Texture Finish to achieve final texture. 

     

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipment with soap and clean water immediately after use. Hardened / cured material can only be removed mechanically.
