SikaShield® PB P15 PE 3 mm

(formerly SikaBit Protection Sheet-3 SA)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   A SEMI-FLEXIBLE 3 MM PROTECTION AND RECOVERY BOARD

SikaShield® PB P15 PE 3 mm is a tough semi-flexible, rot-proof, durable pre-molded bitumen based board with the top surface covered with a thin polyethlene film (PBS) and the underside covered with a thin easy torched poly-ethylene film. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions

  • Very low water absorption. 
  • Non invasive. Compatible with Sikalastic®-600 Series, Sikalastic®-800 series and SikaBit® ranges of products.
  • Withstands site abuse and impact from backfilling operations as well as effective protection against construction traffic, concreting and other topping work.
  • Maintains shape stability at high temperatures and retains flexibility at low temperatures.
  • It is tough, rot proof and non-bio degradable. It is unaffected by permanent Immersion in water.
  • Resistant to salts, chlorides and other chemicals normally found in soils.
  • Semi-flexible, can be bent to normal contours without cracking while rigid enough to hold as a board on vertical surfaces.
  • High puncture and impact resistance.

Usage

SikaShield® PB P15 PE 3 mm is suitable for a variety of applications in below or above ground waterproofing as well as,
  • Roofing, new and renovation projects as a recovery board 
  • Waterproofing system protection board within civil works

Shelf life

2 years from date of production if stored properly in original unopened packaging.

Storage conditions

Boards must be stored in their original package, and under cool and dry conditions between temperatures of +5 °C and +35 °C.
They must be protected from direct sunlight, rain, snow and ice.
