2-C Low-Viscosity Epoxy Resin

SikaInject®-471 is a 2-component, solvent free, low-viscosity epoxy resin for structural crack repair.

Usage

Suitable for sealing of structures against ingress of corrosive fluids and gases. Suitable for structural "static" crack repair from 0.1 mm to 9 mm in:
  • Columns
  • Bridge decks
  • Floors
  • Tunnels
  • Basements
  • Beams
  • Underpasses

Chemical resistance

SikaInject®-471 (in fully cured state) has excellent resistance to most aqueous substances and liquids, these include:

  • Sea water

  • Brackish water

  • Effluent and raw sewage

  • Acids of low concentration

  • Alkalis

  • Oils (mineral and organic)

Application steps

APPLICATION

Mix components quickly and thoroughly.

Inject the mixture through a 1-C injection pump and injection packers for structural crack repair.

Pour into cracks for surface sealing.

Apply within potlife / observe application temperature.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipment with Sika® Colma-Cleaner immediately after use. Hardened / cured material can only be mechanically removed.
