SikaProof® Tape A+

Self-adhesive tape for external jointing of Sikaproof A+ waterproofing system

SikaProof® Tape A+ is a self-adhesive tape based on a polyacrylate adhesive with a carrier film and a release liner. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

  • Fully bonded to the concrete structure
  • No lateral water migration (identical to SikaProof® A+ membrane)
  • High adhesion and sealing capability, especially in cold and damp conditions

Usage

 
  • Sealing and bonding overlap joints, connections and details within the SikaProof® A+ membrane system.

Storage conditions

Product must be stored in original unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions and temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. Always refer to packaging.

SUBSTRATE QUALITY

The contact surface is the grey SikaProof® A+ hybrid bonding layer. It must be dry (or slightly damp), clean and free of any materials that could impair the adhesion. If the substrate requirements are not achieved, suitable measures must be taken. Contact Sika® Technical Services for more information.
