Emulsified Paraffin wax based Concrete Curing Compound

Sika® Antisol® E-15 is a liquid, emulsified paraffin wax based curing compound for preventing water loss in concrete. The product is ready for use and easy to apply.
Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Usage

Sika® Antisol® E-15 is mainly used for structural concrete surfaces where subsequent surface treatment will not be required.
Sika® Antisol® E-15 curing compounds are sprayed onto newly laid concrete surfaces to form a thin film barrier preventing premature water loss, without disturbance of the normal setting action. The concrete is then allowed to cure and achieve its maximum physical properties.   Sika® Antisol® E-15 is particularly useful in large areas of exposed concrete, such as:
  • Roof decks
  • Retaining walls
  • Pre-stressed beams and piers
  • Irrigation canals and channels

Storage conditions

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +45 °C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

The rate of coverage depends on wind speed, relative humidity, temperature conditions and surface profile of the concrete.
Application steps

APPLICATION

Stir the Sika® Antisol® E-15 well before use.

The Antisol® E- range of curing compounds has been designed for spray application onto newly laid concrete.

Apply a thin, even, film of Sika® Antisol® E-15 to the whole surface using a hand or motor operated spray gun.

After application clean all equipment and tools with soapy water.
