New generation of polycarboxylic ether-based plasticizer for Manufactured Concrete Products, specially engineered for use in production hollow-core slabs, masonry and paving blocks.

SikaPaver®-726 is an innovative multi-purpose plasticizer based polycarboxylic ether polymers specially developed for semi-dry concrete mixes. The product is suitable for the production of hollow-core slabs, masonry and paving blocks.
At the same time, SikaPaver®-726 accelerates the strength development and reduces the cycle time whilst the appearance is maintained or even improved.
Due to its unique principle of action on the cement grain, SikaPaver®-726 fully exploits the hydration potential of cement resulting in higher early strengths and shorter curing times. Suitable to use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Storage conditions

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +50°C. Mix well before using.

Concreting guidance

The standard rules of good concreting practice for production and placing must be observed when using SikaPaver®-726 in concrete. Refer to relevant standards.

Application

Application Information

Dispensing

SikaPaver®-726 is a liquid ready-to-use admixture to be added to the concrete during the mixing process. The best results are obtained when the admixture is added after all the other components are already in the mixer and after the addition of at least 80% of the total water.
The water content is adjusted to obtain the desired consistence or workability.

Compatibility

SikaPaver®-726 is compatible and recommended for use with:

  • SikaPaver® WP 240, water repellent and efflorescence control admixture
  • SikaPaver®-3936, water repellant and stain resistant liquid

We recommend to perform trial mixes to establish the required performance when combined with the above products. Please consult our Sika

Consumption

Recommended dosage

0.4 - 1.2 % by weight of binder.
Dosages outside of this range can be used depending on the mix design, raw materials, climatic conditions and concrete requirements. Trial mixes must be performed to establish the exact dosage rate required.
