Air-entraining liquid mortar plasticiser

SikaPaver®-910 MC is a liquid ultra stable micro air entraining mortar plasticiser, designed to enhance the workability of brick and block laying and plastering mortars. SikaPaver®-910 MC is designed to accomodate variations in cement and aggregate sources and quality. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Shelf life

12 months from date of production if stored properly

Storage conditions

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +50°C. Protect from direct sunlight and extremes of temperature.

Technical Information

Concreting guidance

The standard rules of good concreting practice for production and placing must be observed when using SikaPaver®-910 MC in concrete. Refer to relevant standards.
Fresh concrete must be cured properly especially at high temperatures in order to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage. Use Sika® Antisol® products as a curing agent or apply wet hessian.

Effect on setting

SikaPaver®-910 MC has no effect on setting time.

Application

Application Information

Dispensing

SikaPaver®-910 MC should be added directly into the mix at the same time as the water.

Compatibility

SikaPaver®-910 MC can be used with other admixtures provided these are added separately to the mix. It can be used for all types of  cement, including sulphate resisting cement.

We recommend to perform trial mixes to establish the required performance when combining SikaPaver®-910 MC with other admixtures. Please consult our Sika Technical Department.
Consumption

Recommended dosage

0.1 - 0.4 % by weight of binder.
Dosages may vary depending on the requirements, whether it is for normal applications or for retarded ready-to-use mortars.

Trial mixes must be performed to establish the exact dosage rate required.
