Sikafloor®-1210 provides impermeable protection against common oils, greases, lubricants, aviation fuels or oils such as Skydrol.

In addition, it offers good general chemical resistance, but as in all corrosive situations, a full analysis of operating and exposure conditions is required, followed by reference to chemical resistance data to ensure product suitability.

Beware of condensation!
The substrate and uncured floor must be at least 3 °C above dew point to reduce the risk of condensation or blooming on the floor finish.
Note: Low temperatures and high humidity conditions increase the probability of blooming.

A 32 kg unit of Sikafloor®-1210 will yield ~20.6 L of mixed material.
Sikafloor®-1210 components are supplied in preweighed packs which should not be split or divided. Always mix a full kit.

Note: Before mixing and application, store Sikafloor®-1210 under cover in an air-conditioned environment and protect it from temperature extremes. Improper storage may affect workability, finish and curing.

• Pour the colour pack into the base (Part A).
• Mix at 300–600 rpm using a slow-speed handheld mixer with a suitable paddle (e.g. Collomix DLX) for at least 1 minute.
• Transfer the mixture into a clean mixing bucket (minimum 20 L).
• Add the Sikafloor®-1210 filler (Part C) while mixing until a uniform, streak-free colour is achieved (minimum 2 minutes), then remix the blend (Part A + colour pack + Part C) for additional 30 seconds.
• Add the reactor (Part B) and continue mixing until a fully uniform, streak-free colour with no visible filler lumps is obtained.

Always maintain consistent mixing times across all batches to ensure uniform colour during application.

Prior to application, confirm substrate moisture content, relative air humidity and dew point. If moisture content is > 4 % pbw, Sikafloor® EpoCem® may be applied as a T.M.B. (temporary moisture barrier) system.

Sikafloor®-1210 can be applied using notched or plain trowels, pin screeds, squeegees or airless spray.

The coating should be rolled with a spike roller as soon as possible after application, to achieve a uniform finish. The applied coating should be rolled a second time after 15–20 minutes. Continuous rolling does not harm the product while it is still fluid.

Always wear spiked shoes when rolling the Sikafloor®-1210 with a spiked roller.

Clean all tools and application equipment with suitable thinner (Xylene / MEK / Acetone), immediately after use. Hardened and/or cured material can only be removed mechanically.
