Usage
SikaEmaco® N 907 can be used as a:- Fairing or skim coat to cover and make good blemishes in concrete surfaces such as slight honeycombing, blowholes, sand runs, grout loss and shutter movement.
- Leveling mortar to produce a uniform surface over repair areas.
- Skim coat prior to application of protective coatings.
- Finishing mortar, specially formulated to produce a shrinkage compensated mortar with no cracking when applied in a thin section.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Substrates must be properly cured, structurally sound, free of any loose or friable particles, clean, dry and free of any contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil, grease, cement laitance or efflorescence. Depending on the substrate condition, contaminants should be removed from the surface. Perform adequate preparation techniques, such as water-jet washing or blastcleaning, in order to remove all traces of any materials that could reduce the product's adhesion to the substrate. For applications in hot climates / environments and / or on absorbent substrates, thoroughly pre-dampen the surface immediately prior to the product application, but avoid any ponding / standing water on the surface, which must not be damp to touch and not with a dark-matt / wet surface appearance i.e. it must be saturated surface dry (SSD).
MIXING
SikaEmaco® N 907 is formulated to produce an easily mixed mortar. A slow speed drill and paddle can be used or a forced action mixer. Add powder to liquid at a steady rate. Mix for approx 4 minutes. Do not add water.
APPLICATION
SikaEmaco® N 907 is applied by steel trowel. The finishing should be carried out with the minimum trowelling. A small amount of water can be applied to the surface to aid finishing. Leave the applied material for a short time before proceeding with final smoothing.
CURING TREATMENT
Curing is generally not required, however during hot, dry and windy conditions the surfaces should be covered to prevent rapid drying. Alternatively, the applied material can be cured with Sika® Antisol® range of curing compounds. This product is compatible with most subsequent coatings.
CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened / cured material can
only be mechanically removed.
