SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Joint faces to be primed must be completely dry and free from all dirt, dust, cement laitance and other loose and deleterious matter.
This is best achieved by grit or sand blasting or thorough wire brushing and then blowing clean with oil free compressed air.
APPLICATION
- Pour a small amount of the primer into a clean container ensuring that the main container is tightly resealed.
- Liberally apply a coat of primer with a soft brush to the required surface.
- Allow to become tack free before installing SikaSeal® sealants.
- If primer is left for more than 3 hours re-priming is necessary.
CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use. Once cured, residual material can only be removed mechanically.
