Usage

  • Vertical penetration seals of combustible and non-combustible services such as soil and vent pipes in fire compartment floors and walls.
  • Can be combined with SikaSeal®-627 Fire Collar, SikaSeal®-628 Fire Wrap or SikaSeal®-629 Fire Wrap

The product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between -20 °C and +25 °C.

Consumption

Consumption

~6 bags per m2 at 100 mm depth. This figure is theoretical and does not allow for any additional material due to surface porosity, surface profile, variations in level or wastage etc.
Application steps

MIXING

Important: The consistency must be checked after every mix.

Note: Mix product with mechanical paddle or manually

Note: Mix only enough material sufficient for use within the recommended pot life.

  1. Pour the minimum recommended clean water quantity into a suitable mixing container/equipment
  2. While stirring slowly, add the powder to the water
  3. Mix thoroughly for at least 3 minutes adding water if necessary, to the maximum specified amount and adjust to the required consistency to achieve a smooth consistent mix.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
