23 °C / 83% RH | Ρ = 4.10 x 103 Ω.m |
Application
Layer thickness
Coverage: 3.0 kg/m2 for level surface. For grouped cables or cables on trays allow 30 % more material considering the curved cable surfaces.
Recommended film thickness: ~2.5 mm WFT, resulting in ~1.6 mm DFT.
The effectiveness of the Product as a fire retardant coating is in direct relation to the film thickness.
Ambient air temperature
+5 °C min. / +40 °C max.
Curing time
~ 3 days (20 °C/65 % RH)
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Extensive cleaning of cables is not required. However, thick layers of dust should be removed by vaccum cleaing, sweeping or washing iff with water. Heavy layers of grease or oil should be removed with dry rags. After cleaning, cables sould be allowed to dry before the application of the Product.
APPLICATION
IMPORTANT
Strictly follow installation procedures
Strictly follow installation procedures as defined in method statements, application manuals and working instructions which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.
CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Clean tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.
